My name is Cesar Segovia and I've been practicing dentistry in the Beverly Hills and West Hollywood area for over 25 years. I received my B.S. degree from the University of Texas at Austin and my doctorate from the USC School of Dentistry. I also taught at the USC Dental School in the area of occlusion for 15 years.
My practice has been built upon patient satisfaction and general word of mouth. I'm extremely proud to have a vibrant, diverse group of wonderful patients, all of whom are a joy to serve.
Among the many services that we offer, we excel at porcelain veneers, crowns, fillings, inlays/onlays, teeth whitening, full mouth reconstruction, smile makeovers, as well as a full range of dental services including cleanings, cavity repair, root canals, removable appliances, dentures, partials, fluoride treatments and children's dentistry.
We strive to offer our patients professional and courteous treatment with respect for their time, comfort and budget. We greatly appreciate similar consideration regarding our office policies and schedule. Please note our following policies:
Patients are responsible for full payment of services at the time when rendered unless prior mutally agreed upon written payment arrangements have been made. Insurance coverage may at times be accepted in lieu of payment depending upon the type, terms and conditions of the insurance carrier. We respect the privacy of our patients and encourage any that may be experiencing financial difficulties to discuss and make payment arrangements that are mutually beneficial.
If a patient must cancel an appointment, our office requires 24 hours minimum notice. We extend grace for the first missed appointment without 24 hours notice; however, any future missed appointments without proper notice must be billed accordingly. Please note that some appointments may be 2 hours or more in length depending upon the scheduled procedure, and missed appointments create a hole in our schedule that is difficult if not impossible to fill without advance notice.
We strive to be on time. If circumstances beyond our control necessitate that we must go beyond the allotted time for one patient and into the scheduled time of another, we will make every attempt to notify those affected in advance so that they may adjust their schedules. Likewise, if circumstances necessitate a patient's tardiness for an appointment, we request to be informed by telephone as soon as possible.
In order to provide the best sevice at the best possible value, we ask our patients to please discuss openly and honestly any fears, concerns, financial hardships, previous treatments, diagnoses or other issues relevant to one's medical and dental care. Your privacy will always be respected.
Our office accepts most PPO plans; however, we do not accept HMOs or DMOs. Our office pre-authorizes all major services over $1000. If there are financial concerns, we ask that patients inquire with the reception desk as to any costs not covered by their insurance prior to services being rendered.
In the event of an emergency, I can usually be reached on my personal cell phone at 310 738-0666 . For those times that I cannot be reached, there will be other arrangements made so that our patients will always have access to dental services.
